Which Tool Did The Digicreate Empower Community Recommend?
Organising tasks, deadlines and shared work is an important part of developing creative projects. Two weeks ago, DigiCreate asked its community which of four tools they would recommend for organising work: Asana, ClickUp, Google Drive or Jira.
The results have now been collected across LinkedIn, X and Instagram. Based on the average of the percentages recorded on the three platforms, the results were:
- Asana: 65%
- Google Drive: 35%
- ClickUp: 0%
- Jira: 0%
Asana received 83% on LinkedIn and 62% on Instagram, while Google Drive received 17% and 38%, respectively. On X, the vote was divided equally, with both tools receiving 50%.
All the votes therefore went to Asana and Google Drive. The pattern points to two distinct priorities among respondents: managing tasks through a dedicated project workspace and collaborating on files in real time. The four options, however, support different users and working methods.
Asana: Coordinating Tasks And Deadlines
Asana received the highest average percentage in the poll. According to its DigiCreate profile, the platform supports advanced task management through timelines, dependencies, and team collaboration.
These features can help creative and project teams divide work into individual tasks, assign responsibilities and monitor deadlines. Dependencies are particularly useful when one stage of a project must be completed before another can begin. Asana may therefore suit teams managing several connected activities within the same project.

Google Drive: Working Together On Shared Files
Google Drive was the only other tool to receive votes. It combines cloud storage with the ability to share and co-edit documents, spreadsheets and presentations in real time.
Its DigiCreate Digital Hive Toolbox profile identifies students, educators, project managers, creative professionals and NGO teams among its typical users. It can be particularly useful when several people need to contribute to the same files, leave feedback or access current versions of project materials from different locations.

Clickup: Bringing Several Work Functions Together
Although it received no votes in this poll, ClickUp offers a different approach to work organisation. The platform brings tasks, documents, goals and automations into one workspace.
This combination may suit teams that want to manage several parts of their workflow without moving between separate platforms. Its customisable structure also allows users to adapt the workspace to different projects and working preferences.

Jira: Supporting Structured Project Work
Jira supports collaboration, task delegation and progress tracking. The DigiCreate profile associates it with IT, virtual design, corporate environments and other forms of structured project work.
It may be useful for teams that need a clearly defined process for assigning tasks and following their progress. This makes it distinct from Google Drive’s focus on shared content and from ClickUp’s broader combination of work functions.

Find The Tool That Fits Your Workflow
The poll reflects the recommendations of participants, with Asana emerging as the clear overall favourite. The comparison also shows that choosing a work organisation tool depends on the tasks involved, the team’s structure, and the type of collaboration required.
