WP 1 - Project Coordination and Management
D1.1 Quality Management and Risk Assessment Guidelines
This result presents the quality management and risk assessment framework developed for the DigiCreate project. It introduces the Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) system used by the consortium to ensure the effective implementation of project activities, the quality of results, and the achievement of project objectives. The document outlines key indicators, data collection methods, monitoring procedures, and evaluation tools that support continuous tracking of project progress.
The guidelines also define the roles and responsibilities of the DigiCreate partners and establish procedures for reviewing and improving project outputs. In addition, the framework includes mechanisms for monitoring meetings, dissemination activities, and overall project performance. By combining qualitative and quantitative indicators with regular evaluations and risk mitigation strategies, the document helps ensure transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement across the DigiCreate consortium.
WP2 - Virtual Exchange Kick-Off: Validation of DigiCreate Methodological Framework
D2.1 1. Surveys and focus group discussions with young people in the creative industries in local communities
This result presents the findings of a comparative research study exploring the experiences, challenges, and development needs of young people working or aspiring to work in the Cultural and Creative Industries (CCI). The study combines desk research with quantitative surveys and qualitative focus group discussions conducted across six countries, Germany, Spain, Portugal, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Montenegro, to better understand sector conditions, employment patterns, and opportunities for youth engagement in the creative economy.
The research identifies key barriers faced by young creatives, including unstable employment, limited access to professional networks, and gaps in entrepreneurial, digital, and work-based skills. At the same time, it highlights the importance of non-formal learning, mentoring, and collaborative learning environments to support career development in the sector. The findings provide evidence-based recommendations that inform the DigiCreate project’s training, mentoring model, and virtual exchange activities aimed at strengthening skills, resilience, and professional opportunities for young creatives.
WP3 - Virtual Exchange Focus Groups: Mapping of Digital Tools and Creation of DigiCreate Online Creative Hive Open Digital Toolbox
D3.1 Surveys and focus group discussions with young people in the creative industries in local communities
This result presents a comparative analysis of surveys and focus group discussions conducted with young people active in the Cultural and Creative Industries (CCI) across DigiCreate partner countries. Building on earlier research, the study explores the motivations, challenges, and career pathways of young creatives within their local communities. It examines how young professionals and aspiring creatives engage with the sector, the types of support they need, and the barriers they face when trying to establish sustainable careers in creative fields.
The findings highlight common trends across countries, including the need for stronger entrepreneurial skills, improved access to professional networks, and more opportunities for international collaboration and mobility. The research also emphasizes the role of digital tools, mentorship, and non-formal education in supporting young people entering the creative economy. These insights contribute directly to the development of DigiCreate’s training activities, learning resources, and transnational collaboration opportunities designed to empower young creatives and strengthen the creative sector.
