Biography Olja Arsenijević, a scientific researcher and full professor in the field of management, was born in 1967 in Novi Sad. Education She graduated from the Faculty of Philosophy at the University of Novi Sad, Department of Serbo-Croatian Language and South Slavic Literatures in 1991, with a thesis titled “Culinary Lexicon and Utensils Lexicon in Srem.” She completed her master’s studies at the Faculty of Management, University of “Business Academy” (2001-2003). During her master’s studies, she passed all exams with an average grade of 10, and defended her master’s thesis (2003) entitled “Organizational Culture of Higher Education Institutions Studying Management.” She defended her doctoral dissertation titled “Modeling the Evaluation of Education for Management” in 2007 at the Faculty of Management, University of “Business Academy.” Work Experience From 2001 to 2014, she was employed at the Faculty of Management in Novi Sad, first as an assistant (2001–2007), then as an assistant professor (2007–2012), and finally as an associate professor (2012–2014). At the Faculty of Management, besides teaching, she was engaged as the Head of the Department for Operational Management from 2008 to 2010 and served as the Vice-Dean for Science from 2010 to 2014. At the same faculty, she founded the study program “Media Management” and led it from 2002 to 2004. Since 2014, she has been employed at the Faculty of Business Studies and Law as an associate professor until 2018 when she was appointed a full professor on January 24th. At the Faculty of Business Studies and Law, she was responsible for quality assurance in the institution’s self-evaluation process and served as the Vice-Dean for Science. Since 2019, she has been engaged as a visiting professor at the Faculty of Organizational Sciences in Kranj, University of Maribor, teaching the subject “Leadership.” Since May 2021, she has been employed at the Institute for Serbian Culture in Leposavić. Editorial and Conference Involvement Olja Arsenijević has been a member of the program committee and editor of conference proceedings for international conferences: “On the Path to the Age of Knowledge,” from 2006 to 2014. “Law, Economics, and Management in Modern Conditions” – LEMiMA, from 2014 to 2021. Link Mentorship She has been a mentor for four defended doctoral dissertations and is currently supervising one dissertation in progress at the Faculty of Business Studies and Law, University “Union – Nikola Tesla.” She has also mentored four master’s theses, four master’s degree projects, and several dozen undergraduate theses. She developed a program accredited by the Institute for the Improvement of Education and Upbringing, titled “Competencies of School Directors for a New Management Paradigm,” 556-XIII/27/2010. Link Research Projects Olja Arsenijević participated as a leader or team member in several research projects: From 2006 to 2010, she was engaged in a research project funded by the Secretariat for Science of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina, “Innovation Culture as a Factor in the Formation and Development of Innovation Systems” (No. 114-451-0248). Initially, she was a project associate (led by Prof. Dr. Đuro Kutlača), and in the last three years, she was the project leader. From 2011 to 2019, she participated in a research project funded by the Ministry of Education, Science, and Technological Development, “Digital Media Technologies and Socio-Educational Changes” (No. 47020, led by Prof. Dr. Milica Andevski) as an A1 category researcher. She was a project leader and editor of a thematic collection in several international projects realized within the Faculty of Business Studies and Law: “Entrepreneurship for a Sustainable Economy,” FP DH/PE1/0116-0217/2016-2017, and “Comparative Analysis of Social Entrepreneurship in Serbia, Russia, Europe, and in the World,” No. FP DH/PE2/0117-0218/2017-2018. As a team member, she participated in the project “Research on Sustainable Development of Ecological Systems in terms of Monitoring, Protection, and Utilization of Water,” /401-00-973/2017-07, funded by the Ministry of Agriculture and Environmental Protection, Republic Directorate for Waters. She was a team member on the project “Research in the Field of Application of New Technologies in Management and Economy,” /451-03-0018412018-14 from 04.04.2018, co-financed by the Ministry of Education, Science, and Technological Development, Faculty of Business Studies and Law, and Faculty of Strategic and Operational Management. She was a member of the project team for the project “Research of Contemporary Achievements, Trends, and Application Possibilities in Law, Economics, and Management in Serbia,” /45I-03-0012512017-14 from 06.04.2017, co-financed by the Ministry of Education, Science, and Technological Development, Faculty of Business Studies and Law, and Faculty of Strategic and Operational Management.
